The 2018 Ford Focus is a sleek and innovative car that's great for a range of drivers. The Focus offers seating for up to five people, seven different trims, and both sedan and hatchback body styles. The 2018 Ford Focus is available at seven trim levels: S, SE, SEL, Titanium, ST, Electric, and RS.

 

Under the Hood

The Focus has multiple powertrains depending on the trim level you select. The base trim (Focus S) has a 2.0-liter Ti-VCT engine that's paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or an available six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission. This powertrain generates 160 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque, as well as delivers an estimated rating of 36 mpg on the highway.* Other Focus powertrains include a 1.0-liter EcoBoost® engine, which delivers 123 horsepower, 125 lb-ft of torque, and an estimated rating of 40 mpg on the highway.* There's a 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine with 252 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, which delivers an estimated rating of 30 mpg on the highway.* The 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine generates 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Finally, the Focus Electric Hatchback has a smart 107 kW electric motor that gets up to 118 city MPGe.*

Standard Safety Features

 In addition to the extensive engine options, the Focus is also packed full of extensive safety systems including a suite of airbags that wraps around the cabin to keep you better protected. Tire pressure monitoring lets you know if any tires are losing pressure, and AdvanceTrac® with Electronic Stability Control provides added control on slippery surfaces.
